Class A

ELDT Theory

Build the knowledge behind a Class A CDL. Get to know your vehicle, make safer decisions, and prepare for the responsibilities of the road.

Understand the why before the how

A pre-trip inspection means more when you understand the systems you’re checking. A safe following distance starts with knowing how your vehicle responds.

Class A theory connects that knowledge to the responsibilities of operating a commercial vehicle.
